The 18-month course is divided into two sections, with the first 12 months involving off-site classroom and practical training, with a supervised on-site assessment taking place at employer level in the last 6 months with a final assessment.
For the first 3 weeks, the course will be held at the PCA Training Centre in four/five day blocks and the remaining training will be delivered at other venues.

Who is the apprenticeship for?
Designed for new entrants into the structural waterproofing industry, this apprenticeship aims to develop and expand the knowledge of its trainees in specialist techniques of structural waterproofing.
There is no need for apprentices to have any previous experience in the industry and there is no minimum or maximum age, so this course is suitable for anyone with an interest in waterproofing.
Your qualification at the end!
Once the final six months of on-site assessment has been successful completed, apprentices will be awarded with a Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Sub-Structure Work Occupations (Structural Waterproofing).
Alongside this impressive industry qualification, you will also gain invaluable practical training with on-going support, whilst learning what it’s like to work within the Newton team.
