Following the recent announcements of the award shortlists for both the Kent Excellence in Business Awards (KEiBAs) and the Times Business Awards, Newton are proud to have picked up nominations for a whopping four separate awards.
This takes Newton’s tally of award nominations up to five in June 2018 alone, including the:
- KEiBA Medium Business of the Year Award
- KEiBA Commitment to the Environment Award
- Times Family Business of the Year Award
- Times Best Business 25+ Employees Award
- National Recycling Commercial Waste Reduction Initiative Award
What are the KEiBAs?
Celebrating it’s 10th anniversary, the annual Kent Excellence in Business Awards are produced by the KM Media Group and Kent County Council in order to recognise and reward excellence amongst Kent’s businesses.
The judging process is a rigorous one, which is why even making the finals of the KEiBAs is a special achievement. After submitting an extensive written entry with supporting material, face-to-face interviews are carried out in order to whittle a shortlist of companies down to the 3 or 4 deserving finalists, one of who will receive the award at a gala dinner on Thursday 21st June at the Kent Event Centre in Maidstone.
What are the Times Business Awards?
The Times Business Awards will be taking place with a glittering award ceremony on Wednesday 13th June at the magnificent Salomons Estate in Tunbridge Wells. Run by the Times Local News since 2016, the awards recognise and celebrate the wealth of talent in the local area around Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells.
Open to all businesses, from established businesses to new start-ups, and from big national companies to SMEs, the awards recognise their exceptional retail acumen and expertise. With over 200 finalists at the 2017 event, this year’s final is set to be even bigger and better.
