We were thrilled to attend the 2024 PCA Waterproofing Conference and Awards recently. This annual event that brings together the best knowledge, guidance, and insights within the industry, and honours the outstanding achievements of Property Care Association members over the past year.
Structural Waterproofing Conference
The conference itself was a great success, with our team of Newtonites attending the talks and providing an exhibition stand to engage with delegates throughout the day.
We also used the opportunity to hand out plenty of merchandise, distribute our brand new 2024 Product Catalogue, and launch two new products:
- The HydroCoat 1 System is a complete, one-coat waterproofing system comprising of a pre-bagged render and screed that provides a fully waterproof coating.
- HydroBond Lite is a pre-applied, fully bonded Type A waterproofing membrane for the external waterproofing of below-ground structures.
Best Practice Awards
The same evening, the PCA Best Practice Awards celebrated the businesses and individuals who showcase the highest levels of professionalism and knowledge.
As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting the industry and recognise outstanding companies, we were proud to sponsor the Large Company Contractor of the Year Awards.
We are also proud to announce numerous Newton Specialist Basement Contractors were shortlisted within the award categories. This comes as no surprise, as our nationwide network of contractors consistently demonstrate quality workmanship on their projects.
Whilst Newton stepped down this year from entering the awards, our valued specialist contractors took centre stage, either winning or being recognised as highly commended for an incredible 14 awards between them.
